CAS-ual Fridays Challenge 176

No automatic alt text available.

Hello and happy Friday!  This week over at the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge blog we are playing with colour.  The challenge is to use the colours Coral, Aqua and Grey on your card.

I stamped some flowers and leaves from the Pretty Posies set and white heat embossed them.  I coloured them with a combination of Zig markers and die cut them using the co-ordinating Posies die set.  I stamped several of the leaves straight onto my card base with Memento London Fog and arranged the die cuts over the top.  My sentiment is stamped in the same London Fog ink with a sentiment from the Pretty Posies set.

If you would like the chance to win a $25 voucher to the CAS-ual Fridays shop, all you have to do is make a card using these three colours and link it up on the challenge blog here.  Michele will double the prize to $50 if you use CAS-ual Fridays stamps as the main focus of your card!

See the code below to received 15% off your purchase in the shop!

Hello, it's that time of the week again!  Happy Friday!  Today's challenge over at the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge blog is  Pattern Paper.  I have trouble cutting into my pretty paper at the best of times but today I used some beautiful double sided wrapping paper that I received a gift in.  I may just give this card to my lovely friend that gave me the gift!  It is her birthday in July.  I stamped the sentiment from the Bold Wishes stamp set,  tied a piece of twine around the top and called it a day.

I hope you join us for your chance to win!  All you have to do is make a card using pattern paper, then link it up over on the CAS-ual Fridays challenge blog for your chance to win.

The Ton Tic Tac Toe

Hello, This is my second post for the day and my second card for The Ton Tic Tac Toe Challenge.  I thought I would try the no line coloring, non rectangular, water color column while I had my supplies out.  I used a circle die to make the shape of my card and stamped the beautiful "Sending Peonies" stamp in old paper distress ink. Then I took to it with my zig markers and water.  I coloured the leaves in with Finetec Gold water colour paint.  I had to add some splatters because I got a mark on the white space!!  Click here to check out the challenge.

CAS-ual Fridays Challenge 173

Hello,  I'm excited to be joining the CAS-ual Fridays design team over at the Challenge Blog!
The Challenge is celebrating it's 6th birthday this month so this weeks challenge is to use 6 of anything on a birthday card.

For my card, I used the Bold Wishes stamp set and stamped my image 6 times using the Blue Breeze Kaleidacolor ink pad giving it that ombre effect.  I then stamped my sentiment from the same set onto a piece of  vellum and adhered it on top of my stamped piece with some small glue dots.  I tied a piece of twine around my panel, stuck it onto a card base and called it a day!

I hope you'll play along for your chance to win!  All you have to do is make a birthday card using 6 of the same item, then link it up over on the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge Blog for your chance to win up to $50 to spend in the CAS-ual Fridays shop!

Fancy fold cards

Hello, this month over at Stamp Nation we are learning how to make fancy fold and moving cards.  The first lesson from Catherine is this exploding card.  It was lots of fun to make. I have used one of my favorite sentiment sets again from CAS-ual Fridays - Shenanigans and a Sugar Pea designs set from the Young at Heart Stamp of Approval collection.  Look how nicely those Catherine Pooler inks stamp on copy paper!!

I am also having fun with this weeks challenge which is based on Kristie's Uniquely stamped series.
I have used the stamps from Altenews Simple flowers to make my mouse and the cake stamp from the SOA Young at Heart collection for the cheese!
